My dad working for Vauxhall meant he had a lot of company Cavalier’s, a couple of MK2 saloons (though face lift 2.0 CDi’s) and many, many MK3's, all saloons, so I have many happy childhood memories of them. My Favorite one was a dark blue MK3 2.5v6 in I believe Diplomat trim.

The Vauxhall Cavalier Mk3 was called the Opel Vectra Mk1 in Europe.
So ye’, it was both the last Cavalier but also the first Vectra.
